Method 2: Disable Windows Automatic Restart Feature

If you have unknowingly activated the Windows automatic restart feature, then you will have to disable it. For disabling the Windows automatic restart feature, follow the steps below Right-click on My Computer or This PC on your desktop and select Properties. Now, click on the Advanced System Settings from the left-hand side menu. Under the Advanced tab, you will see the Startup and Recovery section. Click on the Settings button. Now, under the System Failure section, uncheck the option Automatically Restart  and click on the Ok button. Then click Apply and Ok. Lastly, reboot your computer to save the changes. For updating the BIOS, first you will have to identify its version. Open the Run window, type msinfo32, and then press Enter. Method 7: Run Memtest86+

To perform this method, you need to have access to another computer for downloading burning Memtest86+ to the USB flash drive or disc. After that, follow the steps below, First, you have to plug a USB flash drive to the system. Then, download the Windows Memtest86 Auto-installer for USB Key application. After downloading, right-click on the image file and choose the Extract here option. Now, open the folder and run the installer. From the drop down list, select the plugged-in USB drive for burning the MemTest86 software. Then, click on Create. Once the process is completed, plug the USB to your computer that is restarting randomly. Reboot your computer and select the boot from the USB flash drive. Method 9: Run CCleaner and Malwarebytes

Install anti-malware programs like CCleaner and Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes will scan for harmful files and will automatically remove them. After that, run CCleaner. Check everything under the Windows tab to be cleaned. Then, click on the Run Cleaner option. The program will scan and delete the infected files. You can only use this method if you can log in to your Windows normally without using the safe mode. This is a two-step method. In the first step, you will have to create a system restore point. Type the name of the restore point and click on the Create button. It will take a few minutes for the restore point to be created. Once created, click on the Close button. Select Create custom settings option and click on the Next button. On the next screen, check all the options except DDI compliance checking and Randomized low resources simulation and click Next. Then, choose Select driver names from a list and click Next. Select all the drivers except the ones provided by Microsoft and click Finish. Type the command verifier/querysettings and run the driver verifier. If the driver is not running, restart your PC and continue using the system until it crashes. If the crash is caused by something specific, repeat that process. After completing the driver verifier, boot into safe mode. Next, open cmd, type verifier/reset and press enter. Download and install the BlueScreenView program. Load your minidump files into the program. The program will show which driver is causing the problem. Reinstall and install that driver. Reboot your PC to save the changes and check if the issue of your computer randomly restarting is resolved. Method 11: Perform System Restore If you are still unable to find the issue even after performing all the above mentioned steps, then you will have to perform a system restore. This will restore the default settings of your PC. Open the Run window, type sysdm.cpl, and then press Enter. Under the System Protection tab, select System Restore and click on the Ok button. Select the desired System Restore Point and click Next. After this, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
